Introduction:
I. _________________ Hope
Hebrews 6:9 (NASB) 9 But, beloved, we are convinced of better things concerning you, and things that accompany salvation, though we are speaking in this way.

Hebrews 6:10 (NASB) 10 For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and in still ministering to the saints.
Hebrews 6:11 (NASB) 11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end,
Hebrews 6:12 (NASB) 12 so that you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

II. _____________ ______________ Hope
Hebrews 6:13 (NASB) 13 For when God made the promise to Abraham, since He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself,
Hebrews 6:14 (NASB) 14 saying, “I WILL SURELY BLESS YOU AND I WILL SURELY MULTIPLY YOU.”
Hebrews 6:14 (NKJV) 14 saying, “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.”
Hebrews 6:14 (Tyndale House Greek N.T.) 14 λέγων· εἰ μὴν εὐλογῶν εὐλογήσω σε καὶ πληθύνων πληθυνῶ σε·
Hebrews 6:15 (NASB) 15 And so, having patiently waited, he obtained the promise.

III. _________________ Hope
Hebrews 6:16 (NASB) 16 For men swear by one greater than themselves, and with them an oath given as confirmation is an end of every dispute.
Hebrews 6:17 (NASB) 17 In the same way God, desiring even more to show to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose, interposed with an oath,
Hebrews 6:18 (NASB) 18 so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us.
Hebrews 6:18 (NLT2) 18 So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us.

IV. _______________ ______________ Hope
Hebrews 6:18 (NASB) 18 so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us.
Hebrews 6:19 (NASB) 19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil,
Hebrews 6:20 (NASB) 20 where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

Conclusion:
We must be ___________ our ______________ hope in the heavenly position and place of our High Priest, Jesus Christ.

Romans 15:13 (NASB) 13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
