Lead Pastor
Bear Yarbrough began his spiritual journey at the age of five when he realized that he did bad things, those bad things kept him from God, and he wanted to be with God by receiving, through faith, what Jesus Christ did on his behalf through Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. Starting in grade nine, God has continually led Bear to follow Jesus in the works of service that God has prepared for him. This led him to serve as the Pastor of Student Ministries and Missions Mobilization for six years in Saskatoon, Canada. Then, with his wife Vanessa, they were sent by that church and the Canadian C&MA as International Workers to Mexico City for nine years, primarily as church planters and mission mobilizers. In January of 2025, God led them to Bridge Community Church where Bear began serving as Lead Pastor. He has a B.S. in Religion and a M.A. in Intercultural Studies. He is currently in a Doctor of Global Leadership program with an expected graduation date of June 2026. Bear and Vanessa have three school aged children. He is passionate to know Jesus and make Jesus known, oftentimes over a good cup of coffee. He enjoys baseball, camping, reading, and Spartan Races.
