Pastor Jason Fazel

Pastor Jason Fazel

Jason Fazel was raised on the rugged fields of the Nebraska Plains.  Soon after entering his twenties he left for fame and fortune in the frozen tundra of Minneapolis, MN.  While managing a Wendy’s and moonlighting as an ice pirate, Jason found time to earn a degree in youth ministry and Bible from Crown College.  One of the many treasures he captured while adventuring was his beautiful bride Adrianne.  She not only forced Jason to give up swashbuckling, but also encouraged him to pursue his true calling to the community of Jesus.  While Jason worked on figuring out his calling Adrianne had time to finish education earning a Doctorate in communication disorders and audiology, and currently works at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.  Together they raise two young boys, ages 2 and 5.

After working in fast food for 10 years, Jason realized he didn't have to smell like grease anymore and joined the non-profit organization Opportunity Partners where he worked as a case manager for people with developmental disabilities.  Following God’s call on their lives the Fazels moved to Michigan to join the Bridge Community Church ministry adventure in June of 2003.

He is currently meandering his way through his MA from Columbia International University. The Fazel's love sharing their lives with the students at Bridge Community Church and beyond.  They have the burden to build Christian community that draws people in and helps people grow in an authentic faith-walk with Jesus.

Jason’s interests are listening to Indie music, comics, gaming, Diet Dr. Pepper, collecting/hoarding, using the phrase “brah” appropriately, and his family.
